Srinagar, Feb 24: A high level HR team from Reliance India visited Centre for Career Planning and Counseling (CCPC) University of Kashmir to select youth from Jammu and Kashmir for training and subsequent job opportunities.
The selected candidates shall be imparted three months’ training and based on their performance, the trained graduates would be considered for placement.

Speaking on the occasion Prof Khurshid I Andrabi, Vice-Chancellor, University of Kashmir, said that with rapid development in the global business environment, there is a need for highly productive workforce.
He said the graduates entering job market must possess the required skill sets to be highly productive once employed.
He advised the students to work with attentiveness, strength and honesty so that the corporates get attracted and recruit more people from the Valley.

Prof Farooq A Khan, Director CCPC KU said the CCPC has initiated several measures to develop a strong interface with the industry for addressing the issue of unemployment among the youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
