That is not correct , athiest do not believe in any god single or multiple.
You cannot be hindu if you don't believe in 3 gods.

A person can be a Hindu by Dharma (by believing in god) or by karma (by his actions). So even an atheist can be a Hindu if he follows a Hindu way of life.

One should take lessons at how Adi Sankaracharya spread Hinduism - Through Debate.
It was not under sword, he used logic & science to spread his message and spread Hinduism.

Hindu way of life.

Hindu (Karma) way of life or any way of life .............. there has to a be solid starting point for it ........... and anything that starts with believing that nothing made all this huge humongous universe is illogical (in my view)........ and the concept of karma is not limited to Hinduism only, it is there in every religion, its universally accepted principle that any action is bound to have an outcome. In context of our human life we have the freedom of choosing our course of action but the outcome is immutable, we can change modify our action but not the outcome ..........

No it is not any kind of science that's not true , you lack knowledge have you ever read any hindu sacred book ?
If you have not read any of it's book you don't believe its mythology then you are not hindu.
If you go by cultural definition people in Indus vally are hindu by that definition.
