While the entire video must be a classic example of a puppet govt's vacillating leader and be made a required study in political science because of the obvious double speak, a few things really stand out:
1) Karzai backtracking on his earlier pledge to fight along with Pakistan against any foreign attack to,now, only offering Afghan soil for refugees from Pakistan.
2) Karzai focusing on the 'Pakistani Establishment', instead of Pakistani people. He does so repeatedly. The same tactics were, are, and will forever be used by colonialists and their puppets throughout history.
3) But the most remarkable part starts after minute 22 or so: Karzai admitting in this video that, yes, his govt. at least hosts the groups who are responsible for grave crimes against humanity inside Pakistan. He is even justifying it--of course in terms of retaliation.

I don't think Mr. Karzai can fool Pakistanis with this double speak.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai explains throughout his interview that Afghans do not recognise and will never accept the Durrand Line as a permanent border but instead wish it to be called and treated as a "Boundry".

He clarifies further that Afghans do not have a problem with having to acquire passport to travel to Pakistan nor they have any issues with the way trade is conducted at the Durrand Line - They just don't want it to be called and treated as a Border. Instead he says, he wants Afghans and Pakistanis to travel to each other's countries freely like people travel in the European Union.

President Hamid Karzai further says he wants Pakistan and Afghanistan to become a "Union".

Allahu Alam.

@Sher Malang, is that your opinion also?

Personally, I see Pakistan linked religiously, historically, culturally and geographically to Afghanistan more than any other country in the world. I wish Pakistan and Afghanistan would both merge and become one nation.

If Afghans wish, we can retain the Afghan flag for this new nation which we can call it 'Islamistan', make Urdu as the national language (Urdu is not a local language of any ethnic group in Pakistan) and also create a new Capital, lets say in the neutral province of Balochistan.

- 796,000 square kilometres of Pakistan / 650,000 square kilometres of Afghanistan

- 183 million people in Pakistan / 30 million people in Afghanistan.

What do you say brothers and sisters?

Perhaps its those Common afghan's Bad-dua which is coming around . Karma is a biach afterall.

Sounds like a horrible idea. Just think of the amount of more problems we will inherit from Afghan society if we integrate. A civil war will ensue almost immediately which is bad for both.

We need the border fenced and hotspots mined and patrolled by PA.

If Afghanistan are unwilling to recognise this border of ours and don't let us fence it then prepare for war.

@Desi Guy,
You really are off topic.
The main topic here is that the head of the Afghanistan govt. is publicly admitting to shelter terrorist groups inside his domain. I distinctly remember Zia ul Haq being asked by a Western journalist in the 80's about Pakistan's support to the Mujahideen in Afghanistan: Zia had a wry smile and said: "You know we don't support anyone inside Afghanistan'. Even he was smarter even in those days.
A lamppost awaits Karzai.... And so he has to perfectly understand the Pakistani journalists questions in Urdu and yet tries to answer in an accent-free English as only a puppet is capable of. Karma will be a bit$h for sure.

Again under most circumstances outsiders don't have a real clue about how things happen here and secondly when people are biased enough to comment as in "getting the taste of one's own misdeeds" it just shows clearly how inhuman people can be and how ultimately blind nationalism robs you of all sense especially people who claim to be supporters of democracy and aren't mature enough in their conduct as far as Hamid Karzai is concerned i think it would be a long list of contradicting claims made by the man in terms of relations between the two countries and not to mention he always keeps bending and twisting his statements to please the US president so it is of no consequence secondly when he says Afghans he might be talking about a very small percentage of people rather just a group of people who might even think along the lines he represents in the international media most Afghans consider him nothing but a pawn.

What is left is some small African nation talking against Pakistan.

Indeed Pakistan is no longer a sovereign state, if we were we would have done many things in the past to show our sovereignty.

Past was bad, future does not look any better. When will people stop being optimistic and realize the real status of what is "Pakistan" now. It will never happen.

Some people talk about separating a city from Pakistan nothing happens and we go hyper like a rocket and cool down even faster and forget the issue.

Some people have told the world they don't recognize the flag of Pakistan in a state nothing happens and we go hyper like a rocket and cool down even faster and forget the issue.

Some say to the world they don't recognize the flag of Pakistan in a state and have done the strongest action ever yet but nothing happens and we go hyper like a rocket and cool down even faster and forget the issue.

Some say to the the world they don't recognize the flag of Pakistan in a state and have done the strongest action ever and someone says it is a provincial issue.

Tomorrow someone will say drone strikes in a certain province is a provincial issue as top heads of army are too intelligent to do anything because they have to get orders from the civilian government and the politicians are too intelligent to handle a situation like that.

If their is incursion from the west into a certain province it will be a provincial issue and the Federal Government has no powers to do anything as top heads of army are too intelligent to do anything because they have to get orders from the civilian government and the politicians are too intelligent to handle a situation like that.

If their is incursion from the east into a certain province it will be a provincial issue and the Federal Government has no powers to do anything as top heads of army are too intelligent to do anything because they have to get orders from the civilian government and the politicians are too intelligent to handle a situation like that.

Pakistan has become from a Republic to Federal Republic and soon we will become a confederation and eventually independent states.

I wonder why OBL raid was not announced as a provincial issue? they should rewrite all the reports stating that it was a provincial hence no action was taken against the intruding aircrafts. A perfect scape goat to put the blame on others shoulders.

Good work but the corrupt, incompetent & spineless politicians are ignoring this & they not capable to take action against Afghanistan. Hamid Karzai the dog of US knows that Pakistan is run by bunch of fools & bastards so nothing will happen.

Chuck Hegal admitted that India is supporting terrorists against Pakistan from Afghanistan, after this revelation what did PPP do? Nothing, they were only scratching their a**es & now dog Hamid Karzai admits so what did this current Govt. (PML-N) do? Nothing, they are scratching their a**es. So it proves once again that the Democrazy Govt.s are never honest with Pakistan.
