This is the new established (and pathetic) defense mechanism of some Indian Muslims, when they are beaten on by hindutva types they begin to bash Pakistan in the hopes to win them over. Pathetic.

This is not a defense mechanism - let me elaborate if you will.

Not sure how well read you are, but you have to understand Indian psyche. Whataboutery and deflection is always the second line in any argument. This is simply a reflection of that.

If you go and tell an Indian Muslim that his condition is bad, his immediate reaction will be to say, "but the condition of Muslims in Pakistan/Syria/Somalia/Iraq is worse"

If you go and tell a Dalit that he is being abused, his immediate reaction will be to say, "but the condition of the Jatavs is worse"

....and so on...you get my drift

Indians have a tremendous propensity to accept abuse without realizing it. Why is that? I have a difficult time understanding it myself.
