secondly the propaganda has been circulated that majority of urdu speaker dont even vote for MQM, so why bring the issue on ethnic lines here?

According to Election commission of Pakistan website: demarcation process shall take after every consensus. and these elements are to be considered...



All constituencies are required to be delimited having regard to the distribution of population in geographically compact areas, existing boundaries of administrative units , facilities of communication , public convenience and other cognate factors to ensure homogeneity in the creation of constituencies.

All constituencies for the general seats are, as far as possible, equal in population.
The Election Commission, which for this purpose is called the Delimitation Commission, publishes a preliminary list of constituencies and invites representations thereon.

The Commission after hearing and considering the representations , if any received by it , makes such amendments , alterations or modifications in the preliminary list as may be necessary. It then publishes in the Official Gazette the final report and the list of constituencies.

This demarcation was done with Musharraf consent in 2002. This was to bring MQM on board and MQM was like a loyal dog to Musharraf all the years following that. This culminated into May 12, 2007 disaster that MQM orchestrated to show its loyalty.

it was done in 2001 before the local bodies election was held and MQM boycotted those elections when jamaat islami contested and naimatullah khan became city mayor

Besides that they all know SC in all their stupidity have passed a judgement , every single anchor is critising the judiciary for their stupid decision in haste.
