I always prefer 2G or Wifi,3G and 4G are suckers when it comes to battery life.

Dont count WiFi, WiFi is not available everywhere, in my case I have only 16 Mbps broadband connection in my home, I get 4 Mbps speed on ********, so when I at my home I use the WiFi, but you cant use this everywhere.
