Certainly did, as a Karachite(never got the hang of the term), one can see the change. 10 to 15, even 20 deaths at times, per day, in target killings or other crimes was a normal thing. There were certainly tough times in the start but gradually good work being done, results are certainly worth the cost we have given. It is to note that, a huge number of Police and Ranger personals have lost their lives in this operation and before it too, people tend to forget this, at times. Bomb blast killing etc, etc number of people was a weekly thing. Good to see crimes and terrorism on a new low, difference can be seen. Even political parties cannot exert their pressure anymore.

Karachi is a lot safer after the operations.
Land-grabbers, extortionists and target-killers have been under severe pressure, finally allowing the residents some peace.
