When we were busy encountering stuff of Country Politics and Afghanistan issues, a serious sneaky political escalation has just been initiated from PPP out of nowhere...
We all know that Karachi and other Urban Sindh have never accepted PPP politically throughout decades and for right reasons, right?
but here is what just happened and is brewing in Sindh...
Taking advantage of the diverted attention of the powers that be - PPP is aiming to get a permanent strong foothold in Urban Sindh.
* NEVER HAPPENED IN DECADES AND FOR RIGHT REASONS *
No one has actually comprehended yet the implications of this serious nasty escalation of PPP...
Poor MQM, is trying to fight this alone...
The delimitations are done in a style that despite all political parties participating, only PPP would win in urban sindh....
Winning in local bodies is an indicator of potential win in general elections too...
PPP has just thrown a spanner out of no where. No one predicted it. This is sheer brutal cunningness by PPP.
PPP always dig in - she is already too powerful in rural Sindh.
Just imagine - if PPP wins mayor / deputy mayor of Karachi and Hyderabad, 70% of Pakistan's economy would go right into the hands of Sindhudesh elements. They would dig in first then the battle cry would get raised against establishment right from financial capital...
This is brutally dangerous for Pakistan.
All military chiefs have kept the organic balance in Sindh throughout decades but this equilibrium is in serious danger now.
Mustafa Kamal is raising alarm bells at this serious sneaky escalation of PPP. He said that if PPP wins from Karachi and urban sindh - you won't be able to free these cities for another 40 YEARS.
