"Kahsmir Hour" around the world

And some people here claim that PMIK has lost support of the people. Lets see what delusions they have now
Corrupt people are working hard to make that happen. We need to get rid of this culture of corruption from Pakistan, these snakes turn in to traitors.

Fair play to IK. It is a positive event certainly. But please do more. Take concrete action.

What do you specifically mean by "concrete actions"

I love Sun Tzu, and i will quote him again

Imran Khan has energized and galvanized Pakistanis all over the world to fight for the Kashmiri cause with renewed vigor.

Glad to see all these protests.

I would like to see Western Pakistani youth (outside the UK) join such protests in higher numbers.

We need to win back our youth and the new generation.

Sun Tzu is fine when your enemy is humane and/or you have the luxury of time. But when folks are being blinded, tortured and raped, something has to be done.

But fine, you're saying don't engage in hot war with such an overwhelming enemy. Okay, I get that particular point, especially in view of the risk of even more heavy casualties. I'm not completely mad - I can see the risks of direct engagement, even though it is the preferred option.

Nevertheless the status quo must not persist.

No. 1 concrete action: close the airspace. I cannot comprehend why narendra Modi flies over Pakistan when apparently we stand shoulder to shoulder with our brothers in Kashmir.

No, you got me wrong. I don't mean to say don't engage in war. All I am saying is that as per Sun Tzy wait for the perfect opportunity, don't rush.

Basically how i see it is that we need to show the world that we are the good guys and Hindustan is the bad guy, so that we have the support and the enemy doesn't. We need to find ways to demoralize the enemy, make them weak and scared, while at the same garner support in home so that our people and troops are motivated. Then and only then should we engage the enemy army.

This will never happen. The world has ignored the cluster bombs, the air strike on non military targets, the torture, the spy caught red handed, the broken resolutions, the trampling of laws and democracy, the arrests of intellectuals etc. We will never have legitimacy even if the evidence is overwhelming and watertight that we are the good guys. Whatever india does in the name of a "war on terror" or a war against "Islamic oppression of women" (even though they rape and murder kashmiri women wholesale but that's ok because India is liberating kashmiri women by abrogation of 370 apparently) is validated in the eyes of the west. Pakistan is supposedly always either overrun by Islamist evil terrorists or controlled by an evil army that is in league with evil terrorists and islamists and should leave poor democratic honest India alone.

We should be at peace with the fact that India is always going to be regarded as the good guy because of western interests lying with destruction of any moderate, progressive Islamic republic that dares to improve itself and protect its people. Even a fascist regressive autocratic hindutva state is loved in this scenario.

Once we stop wasting time and effort trying to convince someone whose mind is already made up, we can actually do something ourselves.

Thousands of protesters took out a rally in London to express solidarity with the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir, as a crippling lockdown imposed by the Indian government in the occupied region since revoking its special status entered its 30th day on Tuesday.

More than 5,000 protesters assembled at Parliament Square in the British capital and marched to the Indian High Commission to protest Kashmiris' oppression at the hands of Indian security forces.

A number of local and Kashmiri organisations had called on activists and supporters from all over England to come to London and join the protest against the revocation of Article 370 of the Indian constitution, which granted special autonomy to occupied Kashmir.

Protesters carrying placards and waving Kashmir flags chanted slogans of "Terrorist terrorist, Modi is a terrorist!" and "Hum chheen kay lain gay — azaadi!" (We will take by force — freedom!). Some protesters also reportedly hurled eggs and tomatoes at the high commission's building.

A heavy contingent of police was deployed at the scene to prevent any violence.

Geo News' reporter in London Murtaza Ali Shah said on Twitter that today's protest drew a bigger crowd than the demonstration on August 15, when thousands had protested outside India House on what was also India's independence day.

It’s insane. Thousands have reached outside Indian high commission for #kashmirfreedommarch and more pouring in from all sides. This protest is bigger than 15 August protest when 15K had protested in London at India house #Article370Scrapped

The Indian government had imposed a strict security lockdown and communications blackout in occupied Kashmir just before it repealed Article 370 of the constitution on August 5. Extra troops were posted in the region, which is already heavily militarised, and Kashmiri leaders and activists were arrested.

The lockdown and communications blackout is still in place a month later, despite the Indian government's claim of having eased some restrictions.

According to The Indian Express, Indian Home Minister Amit Shah today told a delegation from Harvan in Srinagar district that mobile phone services in the region will be restored in 15-20 days.

On Monday, Jammu and Kashmir Principal Secretary Rohit Kansal had claimed that 93 per cent of restrictions had been lifted from Jammu and Ladakh and that mobile services had also been restored in all 10 districts of Jammu, the Indian publication reported.
