It's a sad situation -- Afghanistan and Afghans have been hammered by a lot -- I think fragility has to do with balance between centrifugal forces and centripetal forces

Rabbani and ustad atta believe otherwise that today bombing at funeral was motivated to wipe out northern leaders ..
This can be said in reverse that today attack at Abdullah Abdullah when he was at funeral were stated by Ghani..

I believe it's work of ISIS or as some say former TTP. Another posibility is that TTP have influenced afghan taliban to target main centers and civilians. Controlling some villages will not bring them anything. But Kabul under attack may turn ruling afghanis against each other.

Today attack on Chief exective Abdullah abdullah, seems like an inside job. Sucide bombers knew he will be there but fail to hit him.
There seems be a clear division between Ashraf ghani and abdullah over reconciliation with Gulbadeen and other taliban factions.

Pretty sure this was an inside job to stir the hornets nest. ISIS and Taliban are usually quick to claim responsibility. Abdullah Abdullah is in a hurry to dethrone Ghani. This is game of thrones on steroids Afghan style.

There were armed men amongst the protestors who wanted to instigate things and they succeeded somewhat.

It's not anti Pashtun but anti Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah*2.
Kabul has millions of Pashtuns but the city itself would around 30% Pashtun.

I think ISAF is going to make an overnight pull out of Afghanistan.
