Originally developed for Mistral carriers. Will be used on Egypt's Mistral carriers and Russia's Project 23900 carriers currently under construction at Kerch.

AH-1W and AH-1Z are not built for carrier role. It does not have folding rotors and wings.

This doesn't means its has some special features, its same as standard KA-52 but with folding wing and rotors which increases complexity and maintenance cost of these helis

It saves space. Anyway, the validity of the title stands. You don't see an F-16 or an F-15 landing on a carrier do you?
