Yep, it's called the Chaparral (ironically the same name of my boat brand lool) and it's mounted on a tracked vehicle with 4 sparrows. Egypt has several brigades of those and they are VERY effective. Does Pakistan have them too?

Every time I see the Typhoon I fall more and more on love with that aircraft. I hope the EAF signs the looming contract and join them with the Rafales.

Notice the inverted #5? I've seen these guys maybe over 20 times. The F-16 cleaned up to reduce weight like they do at all shows make the engines sing like you wouldn't believe. Next time you see them, check them out when they're taxiing, they sing a sweet song like a whistle.

Armed with sidewinders not sparrows.

Chaparral was a short range IR AD systems used by mechanized units.

Israelis used the same concept to build SpyDer that has 2x Python 4 for IR and 2x Derby for longer range interceptions.

A smart guy like you should know what I meant and I meant sidewiders since I made that notation before to Fatso with the picture. Small mistakes like that you could let them go..... :-) Sparroiws are much larger and look a lot more like AIM-120s.

Here's another picture to refresh everyone's memory.
