Rasheed says nation may move in the direction of civil warfare ​

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Sheikh Ahmed Rasheed stated that the “country might move towards a civil war.”

Speaking concerning the conflict between the police and Ansar-ul-Islam employees, Rasheed stated: “Ansar-ul-Islam are attacking the police and puncturing police vans.”

He further added that “JUI-F brought 70 people,” including that they held negotiations with the occasion at hand over their employees.

Rasheed additional added that the Opposition leaders are exterior the Parliament Lodges and they’re attempting to cease anybody from getting into the premises.

Opposition parties were in uproar on Thursday after Islamabad police conducted an operation inside the Parliament Lodges and made 19 arrests, including those of JUI-F MNAs Salahuddin Ayubi and Maulana Jamal-ud-Din.

The police action came after members of Ansarul Islam, a uniformed volunteer force of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F), entered the Parliament Lodges in large numbers.

Islamabad Inspector General of Police Muhammad Ahsan Younus took notice of the group's presence inside the lodges. According to a tweet posted from the capital police's official account, he suspended the officials in charge at D-Chowk under whose watch the Ansarul Islam workers had entered the lodges. Subsequently, he personally led the operation.

All those people who were advocating strict action against TLP for their dharnas and use of force, I wonder if they will equally support the government if it goes after these goons blocking roads all over the country, especially after they stormed parliament lodges.

How the heck can someone justify using private militia within parliament lodges? And sitting MNA's taking air out of police vehicles? Pathetic.

These goons should be forcefully removed from the streets and put in lockups.
