On Monday, Bollywood actor Juhi Chawla moved the Delhi high court against implementation of 5G wireless network technology in India, reported the Hindustan Times.
The Ishq actor raised issues related to the impact of 5G radiations on citizens, animals, flora and fauna. Her petition claims that 5G will lead to RF exposure to all the living beings on earth which will be 100 times more than the current level and lead to serious, irreversible effects on humans.
Justice C Hari Shankar, before whom the matter was presented, has moved the motion another bench for hearing on June 2.
Chawla has also clarified that she is not against the implementation of technological advancements, but "we have sufficient reason to believe that [5G] radiation is extremely harmful and injurious to the health and safety of the people."
The Darr actor’s petition, filed through advocate Deepak Khosla, cites clinical and experimental evidence of damage to DNA, cells and organ systems in plants and animals to state the major diseases of modern civilization – cancer, heart disease and diabetes – are, in large part, caused by electromagnetic pollution which is generated by wireless mobile phone technology.
Chawla's spokesperson said in a statement, "The present suit is being instituted, in order to seek a direction from this Hon'ble court to the arrayed defendants, to certify to us and, therefore, to the public at large, that 5G technology is safe to human kind, man, woman, adult, child, infant, animals and every type of living organism, to flora, to fauna."

You failed to get the subtlety of my post.

I mentioned saree and bindi for Juhi because of a reason. She has been "bought" by BJP/RSS folks and is being made into an ideal Hindu Woman Role model for re-election and to attract fence-sitters, just like in other elections across India (for example Kolkata recently where BJP employed Tollywood actresses).

The point I was tryin to make is that BJP/RSS is going into great lengths to indoctrinate and brainwash Indian lower middle class people to make them believe in regressive values (often sectarian like you state) in various ways. This is one of their MOs (to get popular entertainment and media spokespersons like Juhi) to gather votes among other things (like fear of Muslim illegal immigrant "criminals" taking over from Bangladesh).

Indian lower middle class because of semi-educated status is extremely gullible and the BJP/RSS have been quite successful in gaining converts to their fascist/extremist ranks in this manner.

Just because Indians aren't watching their politics is the reason people like Modi get elected and Indians are facing a 7.3% contraction in the economy.

It's not only the lower middle class, it's also the highly educated ones; I have seen many such people.

I wonder if hypothetically BJP manages to create their ideal Hindu rashtra, will they bring back the pure forms of Hinduism including the cast system, the swati, the non marriage of windows etc. If they do how acceptable it will be to the Indian people. If it's not acceptable then how will the bhakt followers justify omissions of some Hindu practices like the cast system, the swati and the likes.

It's particuarly surprising to me that even the highly educated ones joined the BJP bandwagon. But then again it's not that surprising since I believe religious fundamentalism has a "blinding effect" on people's intellect, the "blinding effect" is also seen among ultra religious Muslims.

She could be part of a fake Environment activists(most are true) to trying to get money from corporates. They act all humane and act like fighting for people's rights. But, in the end they take bribe from corporates and betray the cause of people. They also sabotage a movement from inside for corporates. This is big racket, you can never trust anyone these days.

How many here would allow a mobile tower over their roof top or near neighboring building ?
