Journalist’s killing sends shockwaves across India

And sanghis wonder why people say India is becoming a Hindu Pakistan.

Pakistan was and is lot better than what we can foresee would happen in india. We had militia wrecking terror and you have your own common people rich and ripe with extremism. Even your most educated ones have no shame displaying their inner hate.

Its just a matter of going unnoticed on international level ....... or else indian extremism would shock many naive white, wheatish and black people.

India's economy is spluttering, manufacturing is dooming, newly born children are dying, borders are burning, education is declining...only good thing is military budget is rising. What a troubling country. Now even people trying to speak out problems are being killed.
India need to spend more on military. 30 billion usd is not enough for a country of her size.

so all the posters above are jumping up and down. Where in the article it says Hindu nationalism murdered her?

One Twitter poster who says and ridicules like; "One bitch dies like a bitch and every puppy is crying with pain" is followed by PM Modi.

Duh!
Shame on shameless Indian PM:

Thats why I always say, such India under this nefarious man has no real future.

Sorry but barbaric India could never hope to be anything like Pakistan.

We might surprise you.

In an ideal world, we would vote the sanghis out and arrest the slide.

The reality however is that India is now a runaway freight train. That's picking up speed.

Cheers, Doc

Isn't Karnataka ruled by Hyper Secular Siddu Khan?

Why are they crying in Sangh on BJP when it's the Secular Jihadi in charge of the state?:rofl:

Probably the bit I will agree with is the potential for unprecedented scale of bloodshed should India reach anywhere close to what Pakistan became.

Size and diversity would simply amplify the carnage exponentially.

Otherwise, in terms of barbarism and backwardness, we are no different.

Cheers, Doc

It all boils down to which common populace offers more resistance to an extremist ideology and which one firmly believes in it. We (Pakistan) have already been through that phase of domestic violence, lost many innocent souls, witnessed worst form of terrorism, but we successfully uprooted it ......... what we are facing now is geopolitical agenda and associated threats .............. whereas you still have to reach that phase where common people get killed and common people stand against an extremist ideology (which in your case seems weakening day by day) ........... what we are seeing is resisting voices being picked up one by one .... a hit list which this killed journalist herself referred to.

Press freedom has always been the worst in developing countries especially south asia. You are not looking at a developing trend but a norm that has stayed in almost the same shape and form ever since we got independent.
Pakistan, Sri Lanka, BD, Nepal are in the same leaky boat as well.
You and I have been born in the wrong part of the world my friend, press is a tool here more than anywhere else and they tend to straighten the kinks out with an iron fist from time to time.

Isn't Karnataka under Hyper Uber Secular Siddu Khan?
:haha::haha:
What has BJP & RSS got to do with Secular Siddu killing journalists and making sure Police don't arrest them?

btw, Siddu Khan himself killed the journalist as she was investigating corruption in Karnataka.
She should have known that Hindutva nuts would only abuse her while the 'secular jihadis' would shoot her. We all know who killed her under secular Siddu Khan's direction.

You should not deny the fact that we have exhibited more social tolerance than ANY country in the neighborhood.
We can argue at length on this if you disagree and are game. Request you to not feed the notion that India and Pakistan are the same in terms of social tolerance exhibited. Given our diversity, please realize how hard keeping the social fabric intact has been all this while, let's not be disrespectful to the efforts of those who worked hard to infuse tolerance and harmony.

Its not about the press (dost) .......... its about killing an opposing voice and views. The reasons for getting killed are important to understand whats happening and what is going to happen ........... why and by whom.

The apologists here are coming up with amazing excuses, no regards to a human life. That is where we are totally different than you ........... we are through and done with it ............ clear where we stand and what we want. More and more opposing voices vs weakening in your case.

This has nothing to do with backwardness of our societies, it has more to do with projecting power and cautioning the rest of resistance. We have seen our national media held hostage by armed wings of political parties and TTP etc. but when State crushed those miscreants with iron fist, the national media went blazing with highlighting the atrocities those thugs had been committing.
