Criminals and non state actors have state owned cars?

Please share screen-shots showing State insignia on the vehicles etc.

I certainly couldn't make out any official markings but you might have better eyes than me.

Have you run the registration on the cars?

And lets not be naive - the state isn’t a unified entity that responds within seconds when asked.

When poorly regulated pilot licenses can be issued by a state institution with every leadership Zia ul Haq down turning blind eye to it - people disappearing through one state arm isn’t a new thing.

When choristan decides to change its national character, then we have the right to complain regarding the “state”. There have been countless terrorist and criminal incidents in Pakistan over the last decade where law enforcement, paramilitary or military uniforms were used by terrorists and criminals to commit crimes.

Shabaz Taseer was abducted in broad daylight, as were various other individuals, and they confirmed they were in TTP custody when they were released, so obviously kidnappings have happened and can happen.

What I have argued is that we need to wait for more information before blaming this on XYZ.

I am still trying to figure out the connection between what happened today and this man being summoned by Supreme court to appear before it charged with contempt of court.

Would this "act" by whoever did, was meant to set aside his appearance in the court (now made into a naik parveen by media) or to facilitate it? I fear that this character will be "flown" out of Pakistan like many other before him and will not receive the justice.

You need confidence and impunity to act in that way to pick people up. No ordinary person or some shady gang is gonna kidnap a famous journalist. Anyways this media silencing is backfiring. On topic, thanks for the screenshots. I actually did not see the last few seconds of the CCTV clip that show the pickup with the police lights - that would certainly support the claim that law enforcement was involved.
