I highly doubt, there are many big fishes out there, why would they go after him.

I don't want to give any names but many known culprits exist with known links to terrorists......unless this guy was handling monetary affairs, i don't see why go such length for this waste

I think its incorrect to mention Pakistan in this matter since why would Pakistan unnecessarily get itself involved in something that can lead to a possible far more damaging international incident.

Especially that too over a newspaper that hardly anyone even reads or even aware of. There are way more visible facebook posts related to terrorists that appear every day and not to mention thousands of comments, tweets etc. that incite hate against Pakistan one way or the other.

Plus such editors can be easily replaced by someone else. It provides no gain.

It is highly likely that that he got himself in financial dispute with other members since these people are not that heavily paid (contrary to common beliefs). Their overextended lifestyle depends on income from their funding foreign intelligence agencies such as RAW or additionally EU related in this case, and money received is very limited even when anti-pakistan/anti-islam NGOs contribute.

As a result, they naturally cheat each other, opting for larger share for themselves, citing their greater importance, or perceived contribution to the cause (or tribal position etc.). That’s one reason all these terrorist organization have so much infightings. They have been literally killing each other over financial issues and power struggle between various groups. More harm they have done to each other than anyone else.

Alternatively, Sajid Hussain may have lived his usefulness and since he knows too much and/or wants to take independent direction, may be he had to go. May be he had the change of heart. India can easily make him disappear since they can call him to come to any place that’s convenient for them. He was their man after all. May he needs to be replaced with more effective and energizing man/woman.

Since EU countries now need strong Chinese support due to coronavirus issue and need sincere help from China, may be to please china they decided to silenced him. China had been asking EU not to support such propagandist. That scenario may not be that likely though.

He may have simply gone to hiding for a while to incite more people against Pakistan (just to test the water). India can provide a good long term hiding place. A well acting seemingly anxious family can add to the drama.

May be he was simply a victim of an ordinary crime.

There could be million possibilities each having absolutely nothing to do with Pakistan.

Whatever it is, for India it would be convenient to blame Pakistan, when having done it by itself. India may even kill him for various reasons including for taking an independent stance, or to send a message to others. They need india more than Indian needs them but they must be kept under control. India can get rid of an increasingly out of control or somewhat uncooperative protégé while blaming it on Pakistan too. That’s two birds with one stone. His behavior likely forced india for a drastic poorly timed action otherwise timing is not optimal for a blame based anti-Pakistan propaganda. As world’s attention lies elsewhere.
