Jordan Agrees: Israel Can Use Airspace to Attack Syria

In a deal that will allow Israel to stop violating Lebanese airspace on a regular basis (if they do is another matter), Jordan has agreed two open two airspace corridors to Israeli planes and drones through their country.

The two corridors are meant to give Israel access to Syria for the purposes of drone surveillance, but Jordan has also agreed that Israel can use them to attack Syria in the future if they choose.

Attack Jordan!! They can't even break the rebels siege on Damascus, even WITH foreign mercenaries(aka Hizballah, Mehdi army, IRGC). And that's against a rag tag militia not a professional army.

It means someone betraying a friend or ally. To Jordan & KSA, Syria wasn't a 'friend' to be backstabbed, but an enemy that was tolerated until the right moment(March 2011).
Being a member of AL doesn't automatically bring you to the friend zone.
In any case, Israel has its own borders with Syria, why do they need Jordan? Israel repeatedly violated Syrian air space in the last decade, and Syria responded with the usual "we have the right to retaliate" without ever retaliating, of course.
Jordan's real mistake is its own undecidedness with regard to Syria, but that is expected from a regime so fragile as the Jordanian goverment.
