Joint Venture with Russia for Anti-Tank Shell Production

In March 2014, the Government has concluded a contract with Joint Stock Company Rosoboronexport of Russia for procurement of 42,000 rounds of fully formed AMK 339 tank rounds. Besides this, the Ordnance Factory Board, Kolkatahas entered into Transfer of Technology contract with Joint Stock Company Rosoboronexport of Russia for indigenous manufacture of AMK 339 tanks rounds.

This information was given by Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh in a written reply to Dr. Chandan Mitra in Rajya Sabha today.

No. Russian are no dumb as to give you Tot. They just recently strike a lottery when you bought a huge stockpile of T-90 rounds from them
