Joint strategy to oust govt: PTI’s conditional offer to Nawaz League

It doesn't matter where they spent most of their lives. Quaid-e-Azam spent most of his life in UK. Overseas Pakistanis are very patriotic people, they send millions of dollars/pounds to their country.

With all the threats we are facing in Pakistan, we need a die-hard Pakistani nationalist to rule the country who will put Pakistan before his wealth and everything else. Other than Imran Khan I don't see any other politician doing that. I believe Nawaz is in the same league as Altaf Hussein. Nawaz called Pakistan a failed state and wants visa-free open border with a country that hates our very existence. It will be the end of Pakistan if he becomes leader.

Pakistan is going through numerous external and internal threats at the moment. Only Pakistan army and Imran Khan can tackle those threats.
Just a small question, did Quid-e-Azam live in UK before his association with Pakistan or After?
Tell me an era when Pakistan has not faced such threats? Where do in the world military runs marriage halls, rental complexes, fertilizer companies, gas companies and even banks, oh and not to forget the housing projects?

Pakistan Military deserves everything. They have made many sacrifices for Pakistan. Don't be anti-army this is what our enemies wants.

The threat we are facing today is far more dangerous than the previous threats, and you would know that if you followed what has been going on in these past 4 years, and noticed the changes in the region since 2001.

We can't afford to have mickey mouse leaders like nawaz and zardari anymore who will cross all limits to please the very same people who are working against us. We need intelligent, strong, nationalistic leaders who can tackle the threats we are facing and ultimately become victorious.

Not weaken but limit, with due respect, if politicians blame army for being uncontrollable, they are partly telling the truth. Military have a significant role in all aspect of policymaking, something which the politicians and civil beurocracy resists. I mean if we are talking about defence policy and military being involved, it makes sense since they are a stakeholder. But when we are talking about Foreign Policy, Economic policy and even trade policy it does not make any sense that Military should be involved in this. Let me be very clear, a major can't necessarily be a good administrator. At times, even Chairman PCB was appointed from military (Mushi Era). Nawaz has had a bitter experience with military in Kargil, Just look at abbotabad enquiry, lets just assume for a moment that zardari was not aware (or even if he was), who was responsible for securing our geographic border? Zardari or Nawaz? But the enquiry lingers to date with no developments, not a single responsible identified. Even in a recent APC when Nawaz sought clarification from Army Chief on whether american claims were correct, the JI leaders went bizzar. The dilemma with our politicians and military is that the severe lack of trust on both sides. The politicians are not willing to come forward to help Military because they have fears in their mind that military may have been keeping them in dark and thus don't want to get embarraced in the end. On the other hand militay is not willing to trust politicians with stretegic issues, thus leading to involvement in the affair which lie in the domain of politics. Unless there is not a sense of mutual trust, the clash of military and civilian government will remain in place, no matter be it PPP,PMLN or PTI

Very well elaborated...but against whom you are arguing with...the kid is only 15 years of age..:hitwall:

It's Army who has pushed Pakistan in these crisis. If anyone can save Pakistan, It's only those who're not afraid of taking a stand against Army where necessary, and that would be PPP and PML-N.

.
Army needs to keep the hell out of Government matters and should respect the Writ of Civilian Government
Generals need to realize they are servants not Kings

Yes give PPP and PML-N all the power. With just seeing the sight of American dollars they will give western provinces to American Occupied Afghanistan and eastern provinces to India so India can have their Akhand Bharat dream come true.

And Pakistan is finished.

You people have no idea how many enemies there are all around Pakistan. The country needs a very strong army and weak corrupt politicians.

Only way to have a strong government in Pakistan is to have nationalistic strong intelligent non-corrupt leaders who will put Pakistan first. The only person who fits that requirement is Imran Khan.

husnanin, there are thousands of army people living a retired life, tell me can their pension be paid of from civilian deposits seeing the condition of retired civilians struggle in getting their pension?

You asked where in the world, i ask you point out one country whose civilian government is inept and poor and can't support its retired military officials?

The budget allocated to Pak armed forces does not have a pension portion allocated in it and civilians dont have capacity to support such a large retired military personnels. Thats why militay is in to commercial ventures. You are sensible person, you should have put a little though before making these remarks.

Having said that, i'm totally against those higher ups, who uses these commercial ventures for their own leisures and this is where our armed force is lacking, a true accountability where no general, admiral or air chief marshal should be treated as a human god(astaghfiulla)
