Joining Military as an Engineer

Salam Guyz

I'm doing BE Electrical (Electronics Engineering) and I want to join military (either army, navy or AF) or a military related organization (like PAC, AWC Nescom etc) but I dont have any idea of armed forces such as how and where they live. If I would lucky enough to join such a career, then whether I would live with my family or stay at a military base.
