I support the right of every country to pursue its national interest EQUALLY. Is that too hard to understand?

Of course. Pakistan has done right by its strategy, but it may be pertinent in this thread to observe that Bolton may be helping Pakistan's case for support by reminding USA about such fears.

Now whether that helps or hinders US national interest is another matter entirely. I really do not care either way, since both countries will do what suits their respective national interests, as always.

The right to pursue national interests is equal for all sovereign nations. It is just that some can do so better than others. The right is equal, but the execution thereof is not.

Of course. Just look at China for example. They are doing everything to undermine USA just to further their own national interests. Every country must do whatever it takes. After all, USA does the same. Fair is fair.

But if you were to vote in the election that would not be a consideration then either? Because you do bring in personal judgement when you vote and that vote is involved in international geopolitics.
Also, that is extremism whether you like it or not. Logical and extremism are not two ends of any spectrum.
