Hi guys,

I have been cooking this up with @AUSTERLITZ for quite some time now, but there are time when he is available and I am not and when I am available then I am not. So, finally we can do this now.

This is a project for member to nominate any battle and me and @AUSTERLITZ will refight the battle so member can see a battle from both a tactician and historian objective and we will have a panel to decide which way to fight is better

So now we are looking for input in both Battle and Judging panel, we will choose both the panel and battle from nomination here

So, if you want to see how a battle you want to fight, you can put it here and me and Austerlitz will decide whether or not we are going to do it

Alternatively if you want to judge the battle we fought, you can nominate yourselves here

Okey, then I propose Battle of Sedan 1940.

That changed the whole course of WW2.

Well I would recommend a battle too (perhaps the Battle of Iwo Jima) but seeing that @jhungary didn't even 'mention' me in the OP I think that this is a party that I am not invited to !

Please do nominate battle or yourselves if you want to be a part of this, me and @AUSTERLITZ will announce the panel and the battle in the coming week, so don't miss your chance.

I will be joining you two for hosting and we will properly organize this event.

1-Three battles
2-Same topics

We will judge:

1-Angle of analysis
2-Depth of analysis
3-Simplicity and interesting style


A panel consisting of jury will decide and then I will be announcing winner.Winner shall be rewarded with something special.

1-No warning for troll comment for a week (keeping religion as an exception)
2- You will be awarded as "king of analysts" for defense and military forum.
3-All these honors will be given in announcement section and shared at Pakistan Defence FB page,inshallah.

A)Instead that we gave you two three topics,I say that you two agree on any three and began your battle.

Hint:The one who begin afterwards ,as response to the write up of first will be at greater advantage. Therefore, the one who will initiate may get bonus points from jury :wink:

@Slav Defence let this just be a thought provoking, education/informative exercise, with no winner or loser.
Men tend to be competitive about everything, and with egos at stake they might get side tracked. There will be members on two sides in no time, supporting each based on nationality, religion and what not.
Upto @jhungary @AUSTERLITZ though.
