No doubt JF-17 block 2 will be a very good aircraft but when will PAF get it?

Following the discussion above , the JF -17 with an AESA radar will be more potent than the F-16 block 40/42, since it will detect the latter first.
Also the RCS is relative to shape/ despite the size, and the best low RCS today is the B-2 bomber one, because of its wing shaped frame.
Stealth shaping designs and stealth coating technologies have aided much in lowering the RCS, but pure low RCS shape design remains more affordable and very efficient technique as the B-2 bomber testifies to., as well as the 6th generation unmanned fighter programs who are all wing shaped or flying wing aircrafts.

New Advanced Bomber Under Development
Advanced airplane builders must stay one step ahead of the game. New multi-static radar is beginning to detect stealth aircraft. According to reports, the US Air Force has budgeted $4 billion over a five-year time frame to develop a successor to the B-2 Stealth Bomber.

Industry watchers believe the new aircraft will have a similar design but will have the following improved characteristics:

• Custom coatings-radar absorbing materials are being developed to make sure the new plane flies undetected. There are many materials under development and weight and cost are the most important criteria in determining what will be adopted.
• The two vents on the B-2 stealth bomber are very large and create drag. In the new version, it is believed there are four smaller vents.
• Smart Decoys – Raytheon has developed a “Miniature Air Launched Decoy”, which create a bomber-like signature to confuse radar systems.
• The new plane is likely to have extra retractable wings that can be deployed when carrying heavier payloads ,such as weapons. The wings will retract inside the aircraft when it flies within range of air defense systems.
• The current B-2 stealth bomber has two weapons bays. The new aircraft will have a single weapons bay capable of carrying larger conventional missiles and nuclear weapons as well as 30,000 pound bunker busting bombs. The single bay also reduces the cost of the aircraft.

external payload capacity of tejas mk-2 is 5 tonnes, not 4 tonnes,for mk-1 it is 4 tonnes.

that's an ancient video my friend. Block 1 production didn't even start when this video was made.

Air intake change because in initial JF17 was without DSI

and why you have written vertical take off ... ???? since JF17 don't have such quality of vertical take off

I am pretty sure initially klj7v2 is installed in block 2 later maybe in 2016 a proposal for aesa upgrade might happen... correct me if im not wrong.
P.S I have a knowledge that AWACS will provide jf17 enough projection and protection altogether against any aesa radar equipped fighter is that right ?

AESA is planned for block 3 upgrade.

Adaptability. Thats a schedule plan. its not only for block 3. its just planned to come in block 3 phase for all blocks.
