Indian youtubers are claiming that JF-17 is not joining the competition in Lima and Indian Tejas is going to perform unopposed

@Windjammer
They are right, JF-17 is busy doing what it does best, keeping the skies clear.
However from what i understand that it's going to Malaysia to be evaluated by the RMAF.

LCA has 0 chances to be sold ANYWHERE in the world. Simple reason is, in its current form, the LCA MK1 will not even be produced past the 40 odd numbers. Then they plan on switching to MK1A which will be 83 or maybe just additional 43 on top of the MK1. Then they will completely redesign it to become a larger aircraft designated MK2. So basically no one in their right mind would buy the LCA in its current or future forms as the country manufacturing it will be buying it in such small token numbers until maybe 2030 when MK2 comes on board. So for Indians to parade it anywhere is just to massage their egos and nothing else. Regardless of its merits as a fighter, it is no competition for JF-17 or any other contender for countries looking to buy jets.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has lauded the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) JF-17 Thunder fighters and expressed interest in acquiring them for the Malaysian air force.

In an interview, Mahathir – who was the Guest of Honour at the annual Pakistan Day parade – praised the warplanes and said that “they [Pakistan] have built a weapon which performs very well”.

Following the March 23 parade, Mahathir was also given a briefing on the warplane at the Nur Khan Airbase.

JF-17 warplanes were assembled locally by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex in collaboration with the Chengdu Aerospace Corporation. The Sino-Pakistani jets demonstrated their ability when they downed at least one intruding Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG-21 in a dogfight last month.

The Malaysian premier also lauded the Pakistan Army and said it is very professional and a strong military force.

He also warned the enemies of Pakistan against military adventures and said that “if you fight against their [Pakistani] army, you will get a bloody nose”.

Apart from Malaysia, Azerbaijan is also considering to purchase the JF-17 Thunder jets.
