The owner of Peshawar Zalmi in Pakistan Super League (PSL) and the CEO of Haier Pakistan, Javed Afridi in a tweet on Tuesday asked his followers whether or not they will like Tesla in Pakistan.Tesla, Inc. is an American electric vehicle and clean energy company owned by the famous aerospace manufacturer Elon Musk – who is also the CEO of Space X. Tesla, based in Palo Alto, California produces electric cars, battery energy storage from home to grid scale, solar panels and solar roof tiles, as well as other related products and services.

MG recently held a grand function at the prime minister house, Islamabad – an event which was also graced by PM Imran Khan – was to formally commence domestic production of the vehicles.

Imran Khan’s government has been rigorously following environment-friendly policies and among them – a popular component was to introduce electric vehicles in the country. Online check told me Tesla prices start from $ 38000 . I took $40,000. The prices you mentioned for India are huge because India still have 100% tax on imported cars. We, on the other hand, thanks to the recent announced EV policy, have just 1% tax on Electric vehicles import.

That's assuming Tesla can produce the Model 3 in Pakistan ... I cannot imagine an imported $40,000 Model 3 in Pakistan.
