Well that's not true for Punjabi Jats in India. And it's not true for Haryanvi, UP and Rajasthani Jats either. The Haryanvi Jats like the Punjabi Jats rule the state. The UP Jats are in the process of forming their own state in western UP called Haritpradesh since that is the most prosperous part of UP. And Rajasthani Jats are also prosperous community. They are all Zamindars too.
