Japan’s record trade deficit raises fresh DOUBTS about ABENOMICS !

. .
Are you saying nuclear reactors don't require fuel? Or that you will produce the uranium yourselves?

Anyway, the bulk of energy imports is petrol, for cars and and other vehicles. Unless you're replacing your nation's entire fleet of cars with electric models (lol), there is absolutely no substitute for oil. There's a reason that not one advanced industrialized nation has managed to cut their dependence on fossil fuels. And with chaos in the Middle East looking to deepen, the price of oil is only going to surge. Short of a major revaluation in the price of the yen (which kinda kills the point of 'Abenomics'), there is very little chance your trade deficit is reversing.

Speaking of vehicle, we are actually at a critical period of time as far as automobile industry is concerned. For the next two decades we will be transitioning from combustion based vehicle to electrical ones. It is actually quite similar to the earlier flip-phone to smart phone transition. Japan's phone manufacturer didn't manage to transition in time, so it couldn't compete with samsung or apple internationally and its domestic market is not large enough for product similar to Xiaomi to emerge. It remains to be seen if Japanese automobile industry can make the transition better than its phone industry. Though, as far as research investment goes, it doesn't look optimistic.

Which one is better for Video game ?

None.........for video games and movies get something with more bass like shure se 215 or yamaha eph-100.
Both hifiman re400 and vsonic gr07 mk2 are reference monitors with a flat response.

Forgot to mention my Bose in the car is augmented by a 500 watt polk amp pumping 2 12" kicker !!!

Specification still have their own value :-)

For Samsung and Sony, The Quality is same and the price too.
But what Sony can offer? they just have their 'Water Protection'
but for Ram, internal memory, Display, Big Screen, etc Samsung is Far Superior compare to Xperia

How Important Indonesian Smart Phone Market

Its not that simple man,,,,no.
The reason samsung leads is because

1)The amoled screen in samsung is simply better than the triluminous lcd display of sony,,,no competition here
2)Samsung has more software features,,,albeit touchwiz is slow to boot and respond
3)Samsung has one of the world's most advanced fab labs and it makes the apple's processors too earning billions
4)Price,,,well vs sony its much cheaper
5)Camera,,though samsung also uses sony's bsi cmos sensor its software is better leading to better pics which is a shame considering that son's sensor in xperia z2 is 1/2.3 inches which is industry's larget at this point.

I never buy Japan brand .

Then u are being a fanboy.........

Quality wise, Japanese brands are still ahead but they need to lower a bit their prices. It's just too much for ordinary people. A few weeks ago I finally got an invite from one plus (a very good Chinese phone) to buy their phone and was really tempted in getting it but being loyal to Japanese mobile phones, I bought an HTC m8, my self protest.

OT:
I and my hero, Jackie Chan, buy Japanese brands :)
TV: a 65in Mitsubishi (yes they make TVs lol)
Phone: Sony Experia. And HTC m8
Rice cooker: made in China but parts are from Japan.
Cars: scion FRS (Toyota gt-86) & Mazda 3

I think bad relations with China is hurting Japan. China used to import a lot more from Japan than South Korea. Last year, South Korea took up 9.4% of China's imports, Japan down to 8.3%.

The numbers will probably go down for Japan. If Japan want exports to go up, it needs better relations with China.
They can never make it. It is a long term strategy to weaken Japanese economy for China. It is due to nothing about nationalism, but competition in the world market.

Capitalism : buy anything without care about origin as long as the effective / cost in max
Nationalism : buy anything domestic without care about quality, effective / cost
Poorness : buy anything which is cheap without care about its hazardous

I voted for capitalism
