Nothing whatsoever will happen. Japan / china will maintain status quo. The economic/military cost to both nations too great over a few crappy island even considering potential resources underneath it or it's geostrategic value. As for US how much have they borrowed from china? Only a moron will start a unnecessary fight with their banker.
India is not capable of challenging China in any sphere and so such idiotic news which paints a picture of china under pressure helps their psyche.
