That is a joke ... do you really think Japan with all its national pride will cooperate with Pakistan under the AZM project?

What do you think can Pakistan contribute the Japanese might be interested in? ... in fact nothing.

And only for low labor cost you think Japan will decide to produce its latest high-end fighter which is most of all aimed against China - Pakistan's closest alley - in Pakistan?!!

Sorry to say so, but that is as would one expect the USA would produce their next generation fighter would be produced in North Korea due to the even lower labor cost there.

we have been using f16 of u.s but never provided its secret to china and not integrated non u.s weapons with it so it is possible to maintain certain controls

But Japan would never ever risk this possibility. As such you must not ask, what would Pakistan gain from this cooperation and how to secure anything, but simply what benefit would Japan take out of such an agreement, and I'm 100% sure, labor cost is the very least reason.

There is no reason for China and Japan to ever go to war. Chinese value prosperity and harmonious relationships while Japan has had its gonads cut off by the Americans and will never invade another country. However if America falls, Japan will likely turn right wing extremist and try to conquer many South East Asian countries like phillipines, Burma, Indonesia etc
