We should also work to establish a military base in Nigeria. We have vast interests in that country and around the Gold Coast of Africa. I'm sure that Japanese Special Forces can help train Nigerian military forces in dealing with Boko Haram.

I would say Japan should also send a naval task force in the Mediterranean in response to ISIS killings of Japanese just like the French did deploying their carrier. This will allow Japan to expand it's sphere of influence/operation (if need be !)
