SCS is too Toxic for even Chinese to handle as this would be bigger then North Korea Nuclear Crisis so I dont think Chinese within Current Capacity would disturb anyone except may be Vietnam and Philipine on Limited scale while Japan wont go on Aggression either though keep their themselves Ready for anything so War scenario is not Expected because its not Eastern Europe where Russia and Ukraine Territorial Dispute like situation rather its more complex then that.
