Japan declines to join U.S., others in condemning China for Hong Kong law: Kyodo

Regardless of how the Japanese feel, they have neither the power nor the will to take on China anytime soon.

As an American, your cheap anti-China allies falling apart before it even starts, not because right or wrong, just because usually people don't want to join the losing team, a simple virus almost kill you, forget about take on China, hype and Hollywood can only bring you this far.

At any rate, we'll revisit the thread after the G7 meeting. Maybe it'll be a G7+ROK+India+Australia+Russia or maybe it'll be just G7, or heck perhaps even G7 minus Germany. We'll see.

Japan is like GouJian and Lubu. They persevere like GouJian. They betrayed like Lubu. Whoever despises them will pay dearly

Actually, I don't see Japan getting back the kind of fighting spirit exhibited in the Imperial Army/Navy. Japan seems to be taking a very pragmatic approach without so much zeal. For one thing, fertility rate is too low. And US-Japan alliance is too intertwined for just suddenly backstapping like you infer. Talk that does not link with anything in reality is fake.

First Sino-Japanese War
Second Sino-Japanese War
Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905)
Attack on Pearl Harbor

China, Russia and the United States made mistakes and reality slapped their faces.
Japan is good at hiding. They have great ambition, and hide it under harmless guise.

"a wise monkey sitting on top of the mountain to watch the two tigers fight in the valley below.”

Japan is very patient. They are waiting
There are many wise monkeys these days - USA, Australia, Japan, South Korea, etc etc. :D

There was hardly any hidden intention in each of those events. We can go through all of them eventually but lets go through one at a time while comparing the timeline to each of those events with the current situation today so as to easily compare and then come to the conclusion that it is not the case today. Which one of those 4 would you like to go with first?

Deeply concern and not condemn. Nice try :enjoy:

Grave concern rather than condemn. :enjoy:
Abe just claim to show concern but short of condemn. It's a victory for Chinese. :enjoy:
