"Japan Aims To Invest $42 Billion Over Next 5 Years In India": PM Modi

Plan is far away from reality. How is the Japan invested high speed railway going now?
India has been the highest recepient of their ODA since 2007, but ofcourse HSR is the only project.

In comparison. CPEC built dozens of power stantions and power grid, dam, freeway, etc.
Oh yeah, fleecing slaves is indeed a worthwhile investment for loan sharks!

"An analysis of official data compiled by the CPEC authority in 2019 revealed that 10 Chinese units had received not only their capital investments but made more than an 80% dividend on energy sales in a short span of three to four years.

The inflow and outflow charts of plants at Kohala, Karot, Suki Kinari, Port Qasim, Hubco, Engro, Gwadar, Thar, Sahiwal and the Clean Energy Power Project revealed these units had originally invested $15.975 billion and earned $25.591 billion in a short time. "

"Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senator and renowned industrialist Nauman Wazir Khattak told Asia Times that the total capital investment of most of the IPP agreements had been repaid during the first two to three years of operations."

So, no thanks, we are okay with Japanese soft loans.

.
The Indian HSR project failure is due to India's internal political fights and not the fault of Japan.

Indian does not have Oil and Gas resources like Iran to attract huge investments.
so the new '$42 Billion Over Next 5 Years In India' will be different?

A 1.3b+ sized nation dependent on aid and backup from a 120 million sized island, just think about it though. The seer inherent incompetence of the self claimed superpower..
Investment is ‘aid’:omghaha:?

Looks like this is also “aid” :haha:

Investments are done for profit stupid piglet.

Investment is “aid”

1. Cheepek and Sudarshan, the USSR did not see such regular "investment" by smaller countries but "Vishwaguru" India ( according to our Dear Leader ) which apparently became a superpower in 2012 needs such "investment".

2. That Suzuki project is nonsense. Do you think replacing hundreds of millions of personal petroleum-fueled cars and two-wheelers in India with hundreds of millions of personal electric cars and two-wheelers is going to eliminate pollution, crime, accidents and chaos in India ? If the Indian government is serious about eliminating those things then what should happen really is :

India's bullet train project is stuck at land acquisition in Maharashtra because the provincial government there is not aligned with the ruling party at the center :disagree:

To hell with the nonsense bullet train project. But i don't think Modi will nationalize India's healthcare system and make available treatment for free to the blind, the cancered, the kidney ailing, those with SMA, those with COVID, those with any other ailment. I don't think Modi will build more ( free ) clinics and hospitals and educational institutes. I don't think Indian medical students will stop going outside of India because medicine training in India can cost up to one crore. A for-show bullet train project will not hide the daily big and small deprivations in India.

A 1.3b+ sized nation dependent on aid and backup from a 120 million sized island, just think about it though. The seer inherent incompetence of the self claimed superpower..

Agreed. Logically and rationally-speaking India India having a population of 1.4 billion should have had a contributory workforce of one billion who would have made India into a harmonious and advanced society and given to humanity instead of using others' contributions and doing nothing.

This is just a single project, at just a single node of DMIC, Gurugram by an Indo-Japanese Joint Venture, first 2 high rises under construction, whole project will finish by 2030, Dwarka Expressway is the new Golf Course Road for Gurugram it seems!

Dwarka expressway progress for example (Part of DMIC) in Gurugram
Can’t wait to see Global City node to start construction!

If not for Scamgress and MVA, DMIC would’ve been quicker in implementation but Gadkari is making sure everything goes on smoothly. DMIC will change the face of the country when completed. And if these fresh investments go to the eastern side of the country, it will be amazing to improve the economy of the eastern states.

If a city with ugly skyscrapers and highrises is called development then you, Mr. Sudarshan, are uneducated ( this forum is overrun by them ).

Of course because you among the High IQ Indians have developed an advanced and evolved country where India has been giving "investment" to Japan instead of the other way around. :agree:

India is the 2nd largest source of FDI for UK, our certified low IQ poster will never understand capitalist stuff, posting from a phone made by a capitalist yet cries of ‘muh communism wurldz besht!’ Investment is done for profits not for aiding and is a win win for both sides when done wisely.

1. 4830 jobs in Britain because of some great Indian investments and you are on the top of the world as against the millions of Indian right-wing middle class drones in the mediocre Indian IT industry and the needless Capitalist backoffice processing industry who got those jobs because of Western temporary arrangement ? :disagree:

2. My phone and computer have the originating history from ancient Greece and then the Islamic Golden Age whose ideology includes elimination of mindless Capitalist oppression. :) And you can ask the Western bloc to vacate the International Space Station because it was mainly built by Russia through knowledge gained by its legacy of Communism-preaching USSR.

Half of Haryana government’s revenue comes from this city which is then used for the welfare schemes of Haryana government for the people of Haryana. So much so for “muh beckophis wurk”.

The whole city was literally built by the investment of DLF, and today its what rest of the country wants, not the Communist nonsense.

Thats why investments is what India needs, not communist lectures of artificial and utopian development.

Resort to trolling when you’re caught lying
India is a net donor of aid just fyi

“NEW DELHI: From one of the highest recipient of multi-lateral development aid, India has quietly transitioned into the role of provider as in the last three years it has given more aid to foreign countries than it has received.

This was informed by Minister of State for External Affairs General VK Singh in a written reply to the Parliament. “India is currently a net donor of foreign aid. In the last three years, India has provided more aid to foreign countries, than it has received,” Singh said in response to a question on Wednesday.”

The problem is that the current Japan is extremely incompetent, also tend to be overpromised and underdelivered.

Yes, "welfare schemes" such as this :
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal on Sunday courted a fresh controversy over his advice to the party cadre for tit-for-tat action against the farmers opposing the farm laws in Haryana and not mind spending a few months in jails.

Also Read: Farm unions claim two protesting farmers killed after allegedly run over by car in Union Minister’s convoy

In over a one-minute-long video going viral on social media platforms, Mr. Lal, in an interaction with the party cadres, has been seen advising them to raise groups of 500-700 volunteers armed with lathis in each district of north and west Haryana and retaliate against the protesting farmers. He said the problem of the protests did not exist much in south Haryana. He also exhorted the cadre to promote new farmer unions.

“Tit-for-Tat. Pick up the lathis,” chuckled Mr. Lal, amid faint laughter from the audience.

He advised the party cadre not to worry about the bail if they decided to retaliate. “If you stay inside [in jail] for a few months, you will learn more than what you learn at these meetings. You will emerge as a big leader. Your name will go down in history,” said Mr. Lal, interacting with the State kisan morcha leaders of the party, amid applause.

State Congress chief Kumari Selja slammed the Chief Minister for “publicly provoking people against the agitating farmers and endorsing violence”. “If this is unedited video, is this the true face, character and plan of the Bharatiya Janata Party?” she asked in a tweet.

The Samyukt Kisan Morcha demanded that the Chief Minister must resign and apologise. “It is clear where officials like Ayush Sinha get their impunity from. While the farmers’ movement has explicitly made peace and non-violence as its values, it is clear that the government is acting with murderous intent on its own citizens,” it said.

Mr. Lal’s media advisor Amit Arya in a statement claimed that only a portion of the video was being circulated to create a wrong impression. Mr. Arya said the Chief Minister, in an internal party meeting, had exhorted the cadres to strongly oppose the wrong acting with discipline. He had advised the party men not to lose cool in over enthusiasm, said the statement.

State BJP spokesperson Raman Malik said: “We have always shown restraint even when these hooligans have come into our functions and acted with full violence. The law of the land has always maintained self-defence as a legitimate reaction of the grieved. We will not do any act of violence until required for self-defence.”
Indeed, we don't need Communist "nonsense" but the anti-Communism "welfare schemes" such as above.

Resort to trolling when you’ve caught lying

How is @Leishangthem lying ?

Again, trolling with whataboutery, don’t derail the thread with that “kisan andolan nonsense” and GL.

Your CPI govt in Kerala flaunts how IT is giving thousands of jobs to youth, so much so for “muh communism, great communism”, no body gives a f about that nonsense not even commies themselves. You’re just an irritant on every thread.

$42 bn investments will provide jobs and improve the lives of the people of this country and Japan will be getting good return on investments as well, win win.

If you have any issues, go and get settled in Cuba or North Korea.
