some powerful people need them here

Exactly. In AJK the local people tried to close a extremist local Maddrassa because they opened only to brainwash the local people. It was 100% provocation. Next minute phone calls and threats from Islamabad stopped them from doing anything, the local MNA was also powerless. I always wondered how a Maddrassa with no local support could be so powerful. The powerful spread extremism at non extremist areas and then after a decade play dirty politics.

If the current corrupt system continues, i bet there will be voices wanting taliban type govt in Pakistan. Our govt system is full of corruption, bureaucrats leeching and sucking the country, on top the military lives luxurious lives in cantt and DHAs and have clubs. There are mafias in every sector. People would want a regime that hangs all these leeches and represent the conservative poor majority common man of the country.
And Taliban's won't fix it, will probably make it worse, make it poorer and the country will be invaded amd torn into pieces in no time

When you're encouraging that, you're actually signing death sentence of Pakistan itself
Unfortunately, as it stands, Pak society isn't going to change w/o a major societal upheaval that cleanses society. It takes at least a generation for any reform to show effects & IK has constantly been talking about Madina-e-riyasat but he hasn't even tried setting up commissions for major reforms. Any reform he does bring such as the anti-rape law gets stalled by the opposition. Any reform that does manage to pass, has to go through massive propaganda.
Give him 2/3 majority,

track record of revolution, sociol upheavel is

9 out 10 times countries turn into Libya

I cursed the laantis who are doing this and are doing it for "national security" reasons too, bloody baboons, can't judge the damage this can do, short- sighted idiots

It's probably the JUD guys and we know the reasons...

What kind of non-sense is it??
we need tighter measures to prevent every single person in the country of 200+ million to live a life according to certain rules....only if a small group waves Islamic flag!!

but we don't need any tighter measures if woman say meri **** meri marzi, or a group of Fa** doing pictures on the backdrop of Quai-e-Azam's portrait....now this is very natural thing for Pakistani society.

why are these Godless people so afraid of religion

yes keep believing on that sort of thinking, ban Islam in Pakistan and India will stop terrorism in Pakistan.
India used em, but they were Pakistanis belived in whacky ideas, educated in Pakistan

This is what happen when you have spineless Civil and Military leadership.

I never said those morons were not to be blamed. Infact i said they should be hanged.

Good.

My point in that discussion was abt u wanting to ban bikes n all personal vehicles but not asking women to be careful or considerate.

In what ways should the women do that ?

Here iam pointing to the fact that people are fedup of corruption and want quick justice. This dumb western system is useless, it just delays things n costs alot.

Agreed.

I know ud want ppl to go towards communism but that bubble has burst. Why is it that now u ppl dnt talk about worker class and labourers and become aurat march waterboys?

About now I know about the general ideas of young Pakistani leftists like Arooj Aurangzeb. Please watch her interview here. A nice interview. She and her comrades active.

Then many people are unaware of the Socialist side of Malala, quite a contrast to how Western governments project her. This is an article from 2013 about a Socialist gathering in Pakistan :
Message from Malala

Comrade Javed Iqbal, a Pakistani comrade from Birmingham in the UK, intervened to read out a message that had been sent from Malala Yousafzai, the young sympathiser of the Marxist Tendency famous for her part in the struggle for the right to education for girls in Pakistan. She had taken part in the national Marxist Summer School in July of last year in Swat. She was tragically shot in the head in a barbaric attack by fundamentalists, and made headlines worldwide. She is now thankfully recovering in the UK.

The message she sent reads as follows:
“First of all I’d like to thank The Struggle and the IMT for giving me a chance to speak last year at their Summer Marxist School in Swat and also for introducing me to Marxism and Socialism. I just want to say that in terms of education, as well as other problems in Pakistan, it is high time that we did something to tackle them ourselves. It’s important to take the initiative. We cannot wait around for any one else to come and do it. Why are we waiting for someone else to come and fix things? Why aren’t we doing it ourselves?

“I would like to send my heartfelt greetings to the congress. I am convinced Socialism is the only answer and I urge all comrades to take this struggle to a victorious conclusion. Only this will free us from the chains of bigotry and exploitation.”
This was also one of the several moving moments of the congress. A close friend of Malala was also present at the congress, who was on the bus when the girls were attacked. She spoke, making some comments and reading out a poem. This young female comrade is an example of the calibre of comrades that belong to the IMT in Pakistan. In fact, throughout the congress comrades intervened from areas, where gang fighting, killings, bomb blasts, drone attacks, and generalised warfare is taking place. Listening to them makes one’s blood boil, as it graphically brings home the immense contradictions and injustices in this class ridden society.
The article also has this :
The 32nd congress of the Pakistani Marxists opened on Saturday, 9th March and was well beyond expectations in terms of the number of comrades and sympathisers attending. With 2769 comrades registering for the first day, this makes it the biggest congress ever. Comrade came from all over the country in a mood of enormous enthusiasm, as this country is plunged into the deepest crisis in its history.

Comrades travelled from far off areas to Lahore to attend the congress. It was not easy for them, as they have had to bear many hardships, including massively increased fares of trains and buses. Pakistan Railways are in a serious crisis and many trains have been removed from the timetable or privatized, increasing further difficulties for passengers. Due to regular petrol and gas shortages, simply arriving on time for the congress was a big difficulty. In spite of this the comrades were determined and started out on their journey one day before the scheduled time, in order to make sure no last minute hitches could delay them getting to the congress.

Many students, unemployed youth and labourers who could not afford the fares and fees for the congress had been raising Fighting Fund over the last few months so that they should not miss this historic gathering and play their important role in its deliberations.

Then there is the Laal Socialist music band in Pakistan who speak about class struggle. Watch this song of theirs called Inqalab which is from 2011. I don't know if the band still operates but one of its vocalists, Taimur Rahman, runs a YT channel and this is his talk from 2019 about Aurat March where he talks about the class struggle of women. I am sure he has other talks about class struggle as well.

I am sure there are other leftist groups in Pakistan, other than what I know.

These leftist or socialist u call are burger bachas just doing it for popularity or a hobby to showoff. Burger bachas, tiktokers, bands, dancers, they dnt bring revolutions. Im sure uve studied the revolutions like bolshevik, did u find rich ppl bringing it? As i said, that bubble has burst long ago.

1. You didn't read that Malala event carefully. I quote this section again :
Comrades travelled from far off areas to Lahore to attend the congress. It was not easy for them, as they have had to bear many hardships, including massively increased fares of trains and buses.

These are people who are the economic underclass and found it difficult to come up with the fare for the long distance trains and buses to go to this event much less afford burgers. There are not burger bachas. You ask if they will raise voice for the poor. Well, they are the poor.

2. Did you watch the "Inqalab" song ? If they wanted to be just popular this music band - Laal - could have just done socially acceptable things like cover songs Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, not that I have anything against him. These people are sincere.

Im sure uve studied the revolutions like bolshevik, did u find rich ppl bringing it?

Marx and Lenin were middle class AFAIK yet they were concerned for the economic, social and political underclass and about the wrongs in those three categories and proposed ideas for advancement.

Agree.

only whacky idea that works is the money, the organizers receive money to recruit vulnerable kids. This can be done anywhere in the world. You can program any person to do certain things and do not need whacky ideas

Those flags are removed as authority took action same as like LGBTQ flag removed from an elite's house in Karachi.
