banning a party means awami s afraid of losing at many fronts in coming elections.
if jamat is so unpopular then why awamis are afraid?
The test would have been if the people of Bangladesh voted out JI party not the politically motivated courts.
Read the article first before commenting!! Jamaat was not banned fully but their trademark has been banned and it has been banned to participate in the national election as some of the party charter goes against the constitution of Bangladesh. However if they change the charter and re-appeal they will be allowed to take part in the election again. Under present circumstances they will have to contest independently or under the banner of BNP or under the banner of new trademark and their MPs at the parliament also are not gonna loose their seat and Jamaat can continue it's political activities.

Jamaat is an anti woman party and does not allow woman to hold top position but in the same time is a partner with BNP under the leadership of Khaleda Zia despite their anti woman policies. Whats your opinion on these anti woman view of Jamaat??
