Gordaspur, the only land route to Kashmir from what is now India back in 1947 was first few days after 14th August was part of Pakistan officially, but somehow the British overlords had a change of mind and gifted Gordaspur to India which later India used to send it troops to illegally occupy Kashmir. The plan was in motion to facilitate India control over Kashmir, Pakistan was left with no option but to respond which it did.

The is my friend is BULLSH|T. It was and always been the people of the state who would decide if they want to join Pakistan or India. No one person could have or would have decided the fate of millions. And for the argument sake, your perception is accepted, coming for so called country which believe in so called "democratic" system, you do understand that Nazim of Hyderabad state opted for Pakistan only to see his state being swallowed by Indian army.

If we keep on hanging on what happened in the distant past then there will be no solution ever. The solution will only come by understanding the current scenarios, requirements, needs and future growth.

and FYI, do not mock India's democratic system. It is much much better than many others in the world. We are able to maintain it and enjoying it. Name me one country apart from India which has the same complexity like India, hundreds of different culture, thousands of languages, many different living religions and still a single entity? Compare it with Many Christians and Islamic countries with same religion, same culture but either become multiple countries in short period or have eliminated their minorities completely.

UN was formed in 1945; you ran to them in 1947-48. Not much difference.

We are not climbing that Kashmir is the part of Pakistan but we say that Kashmir is the un complete process of the partition. The people of Kashmir are not like to live as the slave of hindus of India. We morally support them and ready for the every threat of India.
