J-15 and F/A-18E/F comparison graph

It's laughable how some posters comment on Chinese military development by saying what they would like to believe is true rather than doing some background research before spouting nonsense that makes them look like the ignoramuses they are. Copy, clone, reverse-engineered or whatever, China is now producing planes, ships and military hardware that is approaching the best the West can make. No amount of backbiting or snide remarks is going to change this trend.

Back to the J-15, it is an astonishing achievement to take-off and land J-15s only months after commissioning of the Liaoning ACC. China keeps proving their doubters wrong about what to expect from China. Really looking forward to seeing China's 5th Gen stealth fighters.

This is ridiculous, motor China continues to depend on the Russians, the Chinese radar is a joke a humorous propaganda, has any information or the name of the so-called Chinese AESA radar?even the name of the Chinese people can not identify their radar.

No need to know to radar of the J-15 is like. All information published shows the absolute winner is the F/A-18E/F

F/A-18E/F RCS = 0.1 m2 (with stealth pods)

J-15 = 10-15m2 (full load) 5m2 (empty)

AESA APG-79 radar tracking range of about 228 km with fighter RCS = 10m2 and 192 km fighter with RCS = 5m2.

UMM i think F/a 18-SH because Indians might be interested in buying that If the Rafael Deals turn out to sour because of Corruption like the VVIP cheetah Chopper scams

The fools in chinadefence forum open a theme similar to J-15 vs Su-33, J-15 is not even comparable to the Su-33 the father of it more than 30 years ago :pakistan:

There are only 1 spec you need to compare.

FA-18E/F

Year of First Flight: 1995

J-15

Year of First Flight : 2012

Compare these two aircraft get you nothing, you are simply saying China can now "make" an aircraft at Western Level in 1995.
Yeah, okay, have some cookie :)

Did I say China's planes are better than the USA's?

No, China has not reached parity with US and Western technological proficiency, yet, but they are closing the gap very quickly. It's up to you if want to believe or disbelieve China's AESA claims but I have no reason to not believe that they have such systems under development.

Of course it is unsettling for China's neighbours, like Vietnam, to hear about China's rapid military expansion and modernisation, but that's the World you and I both live in, and we should hope China acts as a responsible military power and bring balance to regional and World affairs.

so f/a -18 is better then the Indian Rafael with those RCS numbers and radar Detection
??????????????????????

kids masturbation thread reopened and some clown starting comparison with India.. lol

One plane had flown generations of pilots where as other one is a baby inside the womb . By this time US have powerful F18E/F , EA attack variant , semi stealth variant (not sure) and the main thing is US has F35 VTOL .

That just makes the Vietnam Army a static display army.

I think the J-15 would win because of its load. Also, it can fly higher and probably more manouvrebility

^Are you serious ? J-15 Win ?!?

BVR ?
WVR ?
Dogfight ?
ECM war ?

J-15 no contest, F/A-18E/F it is a different class, the Su-33 has never confirmed victories before the F-18, J-15 will repeat it. Liaoning not use catapults, it uses skijump and so load parameters of the J-15 will certainly be reduced several times, similar to the Su-33.Again J-15 has no competition, the J-15 was struck by F-18E. :usflag:
