Nawaz is original “Sharif” and rightful “owner” of the business entity named PMLN - he made politics a business by offering money to switch independents to PML in 1988 and after that he sold the tickets of PMLN to aspiring candidates - essentially got his own and even ISI’s invested money back and into his kitty.

For him it’s a business nothing less nothing more.

Nawaz is rightful owner but we have Zabardasti Ke Bhutto ruling over second biggest parliamentary party PPP just because Zardari or Talpur surname doesn’t sell in PPP votebank.

It’s unfortunate but enslaved menrantility of MPA/MNA, and any party bearer has led us to this state where personalities are made to look and act way bigger than systems.

I abhor $harifs no end but love Zahid Hamid, Parvez Rasheed and Dr Kirmani the most amongst all his advisers for their roles and specific suggestions (not sharing boring details re what particular advices resulted in this debacle) which resulted in whirlwind downfall of Nawaz in particular; and Maryam’s future prospects in general and PML’s future by and large.

They have literally grabbed him (and party) and pushed him (it) over the cliff.
