Hockey and Cricket were introduced to this region via imperlisim. The locals were used to fetch balls and clean shoes while the gora masters laughed and played.
I concur. The same "gora masters" if you look at big picture is ruling the world affairs ... how dare anyone from a non-gora demographic challenge their hegemony...this incident SHOULD be a kick starter (like others in the past) to wakeup and change the thinking process from leaving "mental slavery" of gora masters ..."woh zehni ghulaami se nikalney mein bohat waqt lagey ga"...
Do these goras take such a U Turn with any other Gora Country without thinking NO they cannot ... in their mentality you are the ones they colonized in the past, they have seen how for some amount of money and privilege (peace of land etc) some have sold their fellow brothers (Tipu Sultan case in point) so they know these "brown skins" will not stand up .. we goras are still superior... I can bet you with all this s***ty treatment we will still remain subservient to them.
BTW I am just going through an amazing thread "Rare Pictures of Quaid-e-Azam" and on that thread I found the following statement of Father of the Nation:
Provincialism: A disease and a curse
I want the Muslims to be rid of the disease of provincialism. A nation can never make progress unless it marches in one formation. We are all Pakistanis and citizens of the State and we should serve, sacrifice, and die for the State so that we may make it the most glorious and sovereign State in the world.
Quaid 25 January 1948
How true this is represented by Pakistanis today?... sad.
