Italy's Eni announced a new gas discovery in the Western Desert of Egypt.
The well, which was discovered at a depth of 17,000 feet, was found to have several layers of carrying gas.
The well was opened to produce 25 million standard cubic feet per day, Thus confirming the potential of the East White Mediterranean franchise.
