They wont go into indian prison. Italy has the duty to protect its soldiers. We stand with them just as turkey with theirs. Thats main reason why we house them in our embassy. India has no acess on them there. In worst case, which is unlikely, they are safe on the area of our embassy.

But Italy is a friend and a partner to India the Italian people are nice on the whole and family focused people like Indians, I respect Italian brands and fashion/food so we should not start throwing mud at each other but work towards a solution on this matter.

I was expecting that. And I surely support Italy at this. Yes. They did something wrong. But Italy won't allow a trial in India. We know well what will happen to them India.

They can be charged in Italy with India's observation.

This has turned into a political issue on both fronts now and because of the Indian election it will take some time to resolve but a solution will be reached which is respected in both nations and people.
