I hope India won't make the same mistake again by attacking China.

As I have said so many times in so many threads, Nehru was not looking forward to a war with China,
But the attacking nation always find some excuse for their aggression, just like the way Jr. Bush found WMD in Iraq!!
That's right! Nehru didn't expect a response from China, he thought that we were too weak, due to us being on the brink of collapse from starvation and famine. That's from India's own internal Army report.
He thought he could steal land with the Forward Policy, and that we were too weak at that point to respond.
And surely it is smarter to attack a starving and collapsing China, rather than an awakened and powerful China.
So in that sense, maybe Nehru was smarter than Modi, we'll have to wait and see.
LOL, so now it was China that writes India's own internal Army reports?
Look at the name. Henderson-Brooks report, clearly from India. Just like the "McMahon" line.
Or even the name "India" itself, a name designated based on a river in British India.
ANd it was the BRITISH who created most of the problems we see in the world today!
Nehru was open to talk and negotiations, he just wanted to stop China from stealing our land before the talk concludes, it's just that he was too naive to trust China and their repeated assurances of resolving border dispute through talk, and he got back-stabbed for his naivety.
You are not wrong.
Check out the borderlines of Sudan, they are straight lines, look at the bottom left corner of Egypt, it is a perfect right angle, as if the British just took a ruler and drew a line.
And the result was division, obviously the Northern Sudanese could never live with the Southern Sudanese, they had nothing in common.
It also led to the partition of the South Asian subcontinent in the 1940's, and will soon result in the partition of Iraq as well (into 3 separate regions most likely). In fact Iraq and Syria are de facto partitioned already, with vast areas of both countries under complete IS control right now, and they have already declared a new country.
The British simply took rulers and drew lines, they didn't care about the outcome.
LOL you are just stating the complete opposite of what it said in the Indian Army's own internal Henderson-Brooks report. Which stated that Nehru set up border posts far beyond the McMahon Line, and ordered the Indian Army to "throw the Chinese out" of that area, which was not even disputed territory.
Do you think the Chinese government writes India's internal Army reports now? Where was the Dhola post
located?
The incursions all hapened in west section where there is only desert as your media reported.Even if we assume that one or two Indian posts actually went to your side of the LAC due to the unclear perception of the undemarcated LAC, that was no reason for China to start the war, Nehru was looking forward to a solution through dialogue and he didn't even prepare for a war, and Chinese leadership was mislead us saying that they are also looking forward to a peaceful solution through dialogue till the moment they backstabbed us.
And by your logic, China is fequently making incursions deep into our side of the LAC, so is China trying to start a war?
