For what? Some trade route? Even that trade route would go from countries like Iran, China and Afghanistan along with Central Asian horde. All of them have worse track record than Pakistan.

The only soft power in the world is of any given society where children are safe. That's all that matters.

Crime is directly connected with

a) Over population of cities , as people from rural areas flock to main cities for better infrastructure , schools and hospitals , and other perks

b) The motor cycle culture helps spread of crime as motor cycle is ideal escape , tool for criminals they can use smaller streets to by pass security at highways

c) Rise of , street children , who fall prey in hands of mafia in streets , turn into life of crime in order to match the luxuries they watch on TV and Movies

d) Lack of surveillance by Traffic police as they are under budgeted getting slapped by politicians wife

The economic disparity propels urban migration. Even US cannot stop illegal immigrants as economic parity is too high.
BTW, it is unequal distribution of wealth which creates class and power structure and ultimately crimes.

The cities across Pakistan are not properly developed

a) Jobs are limited to big cities
b) Quality of Schools and Hospitals is low in rural areas
c) The quality of life (infrastructure ) is low in rural areas

This is why the population keeps rising in Karachi / Lahore

Eventually it leads to over population and exhaustion of system

1) People end up building illegal housing
2) People end up breaking law, bribes to get ahead in life
3) People tend to destroyer / overuse available facilities



People develop a mentality "Give me Stuff " based on my language or Provincial status


The Politicians , the judges , and ultra rich enjoy a beautiful life in Islamabad where the general poor class can't buid or buy homes due to price so they can't relate to the issues of big cities



Existence of 4 provinces instead of 50 Administrative zone is why money is not distributed


When figure of city go over 1 million it gets harder to track day to day activities , for Karachi/Lahore these figures are close to 14 Million
