It is a Revolt - A Great Article by AG Noorani on Kashmir

. .
Noorani is unquestionably a scholar but he is a liberal idealist and not pragmatist.

Absolutely NOT. Have you any idea about what he said about Pakistan's claim on Kashmir?

I have been deliberately reading Noorani for the last Two days

I have read all his works

Do you KNOW ; he reserves his GREATEST anger against Jinnah and Abdullah family

Jinnah because he REJECTED Patel's offer for Kashmir's exchange with Hyderabad

And then he abuses Abdullah for Trusting NEHRU

Later on in his OTHER works he goes on and on about India's perfidies and Betrayals

.
Looks like Noorani sahab's article was an overdose of facts and realities for Indians

That in no way proves he is a Pro-Pakistani. I ask you again do you know his stance on Pakistan's claim over Kashmir, the central issue we are struggling to find an answer for the last seventy years?

Dont try to side track the issue of where his loyalties lie

He is PRO Pakistani certainly ; He says MANY things all at the same time

but the thrust of his arguement is that -- after the wars with Pakistan ; there is no question of India accepting secession

SO he wants autonomy ; BUT who is giving him that autonomy

His main grouse his the dilution and WRECKING of Article 370

He wants it back ; Old man is 85 ; he will pass away broken hearted

Yes and it is his mere opinion which he has every right to express, not essentially making him a Pro-Pakistani as you erroneously suggested. .

You can believe anything but what people have right to judge is whether your belief has sound foundations or not and there you fail.

If you read his articles you will realise HOW BADLY Jinnah goofed up

Just GOOGLE these Words " Kashmir will FALL in our LAP like a Ripe fruit "

This is what Jinnah believed and he wanted BOTH

Kashmir and Hyderabad

but got NOTHING ; Jinnah refused an agreement on Hyderabad and GOT nothing

This is what is NOORANI's GREATEST lamentation
