It happens in India: polling station for one voter

New Delhi: When India elects a new Parliament in April-May, one polling station in Gujarat will have just one voter.

Chief Election Commissioner N. Goapalswami told reporters that this would be located in Junagadh district in Gir forests, home to the Asiatic lion.

There will also be one polling station for two voters in Chhattisgarh, and three stations in Arunachal Pradesh will have three electors each.

Is this because India is illegally annexing their land, and terrorizing the civilian population like in Kashmir?

Well you too are equally responsible for the siutation in kashmir..!!! I just saw on T.V the frustration of kashmiries, they dont want to be with india and pakistan. As they are fed up... Why just because you send terrorists into kashmir we send troops to kill them ultimately making the life of the kashmiries hell..

However to answer your question, this shows how much india values the mandate of every single of its citizen...!!!

It looks Quite Impossible to Believe that India has more than Billion People and in Some Station there is only ONE VOTER, That Voter will be a Big Deal than, Whole staff and Security Personnel for the Only One Voter, OK THERE ARE SOMETHINGS WHICH HAPPEN ONLY IN INDIA.

Its Gujarat by the way.

None of them are in Kashmir. so you are wrong. The point is, even if there are 1, 2 or 3 voters for a polling booth, Election commission doesn't shirk away from its constitutional duties and conducts voting even for those few voters, which I think reflects a true democracy and that no one is denied voting rights, no matter what.
