Yes, a very very long way to go for everyone.

At the moment there's only Russia, China and US that dominate this field. Unfortunately, for rest of the world, it's either too expensive or they just don't have the interest or the public support in this field. Quite sad really.

Even the Europeans with their massive economy (combined), are not ambitious.
