Turkey deals with Israel from a position of strength. Also, Palestinian Jews in the Ottoman empire didn't attack Ottoman soldiers. I could not find any incident.

The irony is Pakistani soldiers in British Indian army fighting for the British empire (along with Arabs and many other nationalities) were instrumental in defeating the Ottomans who had kept the peace in the middle east for centuries.

Rebellion of 800 soldiers stationed in Singapore is insignificant and not really relevant. None rebelled in Palestine; British military commander was pleased by the performance of Pakistanis.

At least those 800 soldier revolted and did something. What did young Turks or kemalists do? The last real caliph and real sultan of Ottomans was Sultan AbdulHamid. The sultan and caliph ottomans had after was installed by young Turk nationalists and they did many crimes as well which we shouldn’t forget. However still rebelling against the caliphate is a severe crime and ‘Muslims’ who fought the caliphate are paying the price in their graves rn.
In Pakistan, unlike turkey, we don’t praise Donmeh who destroyed the caliphate and built a secular state one the grave of the caliphate. We don’t go around building statues and worshipping the one who collaborated to destroy the caliphate. Biggest criminals and the people responsible for the fall of the caliphate are the Turks who removed Sultan AbdulHamid then again went in removing 2 more ottoman sultans before Donmeh Kemal struck the final blow and destroyed and dissolved the caliphate. Literally the state you talk so proudly about today abolished the caliphate in order to create a secular republic on its grave so in fact the biggest criminals in the fall of the caliphate is the modern secular republic of turkey!

Turkey ready for energy cooperation with Israel: president​

ANKARA, March 9 (Xinhua) -- Turkey is ready to cooperate with Israel in the field of energy, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Wednesday after a meeting with visiting Israeli President Isaac Herzog that aimed at normalizing bilateral ties.

"I told Mr. Herzog that we are ready for cooperation in energy and energy security. Turkey has the experience to implement such projects," Erdogan said at a joint press conference with Herzog in the capital Ankara.

"I believe that this historic visit will be a turning point in relations between Turkey and Israel," the Turkish president said, adding new opportunities will be brought for both regional and bilateral cooperation.

The Turkish ministers of foreign affairs and energy will pay visits to Israel in the upcoming period, according to Erdogan.

"Our common goal with Israel is to revitalize political dialogue between our countries, based on common interests and respect for mutual sensitivities," he said, adding Ankara has "clearly expressed" its sensitivity on the issue of Palestine.

In a recent spat in 2018 when the United States moved its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, Turkey expelled the Israeli ambassador from Ankara.

In recent months, the presidents of the two countries held several phone conversations in a bid to mend ties.

For his part, Herzog said "partnership and good neighborly relations" between Israel and Turkey are "important to us all" in the Eastern Mediterranean region.

"We shall aspire to solve our disagreements with mutual respect and goodwill, by means of the proper mechanisms and institutions which we shall develop together," the Israeli president added.

A vocal critic of Israel, especially of its policies toward the Palestinians, Erdogan voiced in January Turkey's interest in resuming talks with Israel over transporting Israel's natural gas to Europe through Turkish territory.

In 2016, Turkey and Israel held a series of talks over the transportation of Israeli gas through Turkey as part of reconciliation efforts, but the discussions were fruitless.
