@Syrian Lion as always supporting dictators anywhere, as long as they are/were (in Gaddafis case, may he fry in hell) supported by Russia. If Israel was supported by Russia, he would support them too.
Anyways, Israel struck S-300 systems, and also anti-ship missile in Latakia. They know after rebels free Syria that Syria would be a very hostile nation, and would seek to take the Golan heights back, and possible try to liberate Palestine. They're just destroying Syria's infrastructure even more.
