Palestinians report one dead after Israel strikes Gaza - Diplomacy and Defense Israel News | Haaretz

One Palestinian was killed on Wednesday after the Israel Air Force struck the northern Gaza Strip, the Palestinians reported. The IDF and Shin Bet said the attack targeted fighters who were preparing attacks against Israel.

The Palestinians reported that two were wounded in the strike.

Earlier on Wednesday, Palestinian militants in Gaza fired a Qassam rocket at southern Israel, hitting an open area. No casualties or damages were reported.

The rocket comes two days after the head of the Military Intelligence’s research department said that military organizations in the Gaza Strip have hundreds of rockets with a range of 80 kilometers, enough to hit Tel Aviv and the surrounding Gush Dan area.

...................

So you can say anybody is planning an attack and kill them. Wednesday was also an response to Israeli shells fired into Gaza for those who actually seek the truth.

Israel trying to illicit a response from Gaza to justify an assault. Which is why just in the past two days alone they've published over seven 'reports' on Gaza armed strength so they could tell the world we must kill more Palestinians again or else Israel will be destroyed. At a time of reconciliation as well.

RIP.

Report: IAF planes over Gaza currently

Seems like whoever fired the first rocket since the unified government is trying to start a shooting war. In reality it could be anyone since it was such a random act with a low volume.

Hopefully cooler heads prevail.

It wasn't over a rocket. The few people that are behind un-unified military policy weren't targeted. And those are done in response to Israeli incursions and shelling attacks. Usually there are some strikes that occur.

However, here they killed somebody from a larger organization under the pretext of preventing an attack. Which is nonsense as no evidence is presented. They want this organization to respond so they could ramp up attacks against Gaza.

Palestinians don't want to be oppressed. There is a nation which regularly inflicts tolls on the Palestinian people whenever they're ordered to do so by the Israeli government. The Palestinians can't prevent these attacks against their people and Israel has a massive military advantage so it finds reasonable to attack them especially with Western support.

There was the first rocket attack prior to Israel's response. But what I was trying to say was that a single rocket being fired with amateur aiming means that it could literally be any organization that wants to start trouble, knowing what Israel's response would be, and then the response to the response.

Of course Israel is going to go after pre-planned targets any time they feel they have justification. I think whoever fired that rocket knew this, and I don't think Israel cares who fired the rocket, they welcome the excuse to act.

A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip slammed into a main road in southern Israel on Wednesday morning, causing damage but no injuries, according to Israeli military reports.
It was the first such fire since the new Palestinian government was sworn in last week and tested both Israeli and Palestinian response.

Israel already targeted Gaza earlier and on Tuesday or Monday If I remember correctly. Targeting someone under the pretext of preventing an imminent attacks requires some kind of evidence. We all know this tactic is used to stir up trouble. The problem with you is you have an odd military view of the conflict. Which is the powerful 'respond' to the weak.

There's plenty of 'trouble' inflicted by Israel in this conflict. None of it has anything to do with clashes near Gaza. It only means trouble for the Palestinians though, since they suffer from the Israeli policy and not the other way around. Therefore it must mean that Israel doesn't stir up any trouble since the Palestinians are powerless.

This is flawed logic if you ask me.

Here is a cutie that was eliminated.

So he has a beard and a gun. Therefore it's justifiable to attack and kill Palestinians?

@Chak Bamu @Aeronaut @Oscar @Manticore

Please moderate both of their posts.

This is the monster that was given the rank of a think tank. He has complete disregard for Palestinian lives and doesn't hesitate to show it with words like 'eliminated'.

You guys really need to do something about his behavior.

@OCguy

The literal justification for this attack was that he was planning attacks inside Israel. Which is impossible and nonsense. One of the 'plans' cited by the Israeli military was that he planned firing anti-aircraft rockets at invading Israeli helicopters. These people think they have a license to kill whomever they want whenever they want.

So self defense is one of the reasons cited for this killing.

I can provide an Israeli source for you.
